Today in tech in Ed. I was reminded of the many uses of technology in the classroom. Technology clearly provides a new and ever expansive classroom resource. For example I discovered a website through which you can upload any photo and turn it into an online jigsaw- for free. This would be fantastic to use in many different ways in the classroom. For my own personal use I also found a website which manages your bank account and tracks your every transaction in order to help you create and manage a budget. This could also be used in a classroom setting, however, in order to teach older students successful money management skills. Also, this class is ridiculously long.
You could also use the financial management application for managing the finances of your class. It may not be much but your principle will be impressed. Did you notice how you could put the jigsaw puzzle in your blog?
